August Recap & Highlights

·       Education & Opportunity: Registered 4 kids in school, connected with 2 school counselors, secured bus schedules, spent 4 hours practicing English, provided 12 hours of citizenship test prep, and had 4 job coaching conversations—including helping list items online.

·       Health & Daily Life: Supported 1 dentist appointment, rescheduled 2 doctor visits, spent 3 hours at the DMV (plus 30 minutes on hold!), and offered hands-on care like holding a crying baby for 2 hours.

·       Community & Faith: Shared 6 family meals, prayed for a sick child, and reminded families of the peace Jesus offers even in uncertain times.

Every ride, meal, and tutoring session is more than just a task—it’s an opportunity to extend Christ’s love, bring peace, and help these families build new lives here.
