Since 2016, Relife NW has been building meaningful relationships with refugee women and their families—listening to their stories, learning from their resilience, and supporting them in the everyday moments of life. What began as a partnership between the founder, Naomi Federiuk, and a local nonprofit has grown into Relife NW, a ministry of presence, dedicated to providing long-term, relational support that empowers refugee women and their families.

About

Relife NW is rooted in relationship and built on trust. The women are introduced to Relife NW through family connections or community partners, and together we provide wrap-around support that meets practical, emotional, and spiritual needs. This work is fueled by dedicated volunteers and generous supporters who step in with encouragement, resources, and ongoing care.

At its heart, Relife NW is a community-driven ministry, bringing people together to support refugee women and their families as they rebuild and thrive.

Faith and Compassion

At Relife NW, we serve refugee women and their families regardless of their faith background. Our care is rooted in compassion and dignity, not in religious expectation. While we never impose our beliefs, we also don’t hide the fact that our work is shaped by the love of Jesus. When invited, we gladly share our faith, offer prayer, and speak words of blessing. We believe spiritual conversations should always be grounded in trust, mutual respect, and consent—never pressure.

Our Approach

At Relife NW, we believe ministry begins with faithful presence. We walk with refugee women and their families over the long haul, showing up consistently and building trust at their pace. Every relationship is approached with honor and care—asking permission before stepping in, listening before acting, and respecting each woman’s voice and story.

We come gently, recognizing the weight of past experiences and responding with patience, compassion, and dignity. Our role is not to set the agenda, but to support each woman in pursuing her own goals, at the pace that feels right for her.

Volunteers and supporters join us in this work—offering practical help, encouragement, and community that foster safety and belonging.

In every step, we seek to embody Christ’s love through presence, honor, and relationship.
